An overview of my creative journey from the pandemic to the present day
I've been editing videos since seventh grade, but the high-quality content I'm known for started during the height of the pandemic. In the last few years, I've fallen in love with video editing, documentary filmmaking and marketing, working with various UVA departments and organizations, the Sixth City Marketing firm, and a variety of social media accounts to create engaging content--films, trailers, posts, reels--for a variety of audiences.

As a documentarian, I've always pursued stories that interested me--Anthony Novak and his fight for justice, the battle over Section 230 and how it shaped the internet, the wacky shenanigans of Margie's Meatloaf Mecca, the struggle to pass the Hunger Free Campus Bill and tackle food insecurity across Virginia colleges, the impact and legacy of the UVA French House. My documentaries are both professional and distinct, drawing on various filmmaking inspirations to tell stories that matter.

Marketing in 2025 requires a bit of extra creativity, whether that's including aliens in an Instagram advertisement for the LDT Audio Studio or spearheading a week-long marketing blitz with videos, posts, and collaborations to advertise the Soup-er Bowl of Caring, the Cavalier Food Pantry's biggest donation drive, appearing on local news, or finding unique ways to reach the community as a VAFF Marketing intern. I'm self-motivated and driven by a desire to connect with people and create content that I genuinely believe in.
